Honolulu resident Shawn Felipe; Thai-American heritage and his personal misadventures forms the basis of many of the elements of his stand-up acts which have been televised on AZN TVs Asia Street Comedy, Sprints Comedy Time Network, World Asia Comedy DVD and Television, ImaginAsian TVs Comedy Zen Volume 1 available on NETFLIX, PBS Crossing the Line and TFCs MYXED SlantEd Comedy. He credits his Thai mother as one of the reasons why he does comedy, and leaves audiences wondering in anticipation when and where the next ethnic punch line is going to be delivered. As well Shawn believes that comedy comes from lifes mishaps and tragedies, and feels that it is a way of positive thinking.
