Jay Black started life as an English teacher. After a few years and a few teacher-of-the-year nominations, he decided to take his high-energy day-time act and adapt it to a club setting. Through two years in the club and
college circuit, he has wowed audiences with his creative take on our absurd existence. Jay has the same command of a club or hall as he did in the classroom during the days when he kept a class of thirty fifteen-year-olds in rapt attention (Well, maybe not "rapt" attention -- you remember what your hormones were like at fifteen -- but it was still pretty amazing.)
